Senior Analyst / Associate

Acquisitions and Asset Management


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst/ Associate to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting both the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams by performing financial analysis, conducting market research, and helping to drive strategic decision-making across the firm’s portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of real estate investing within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisitions Support:

  • Underwrite potential investment opportunities, including office, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

  • Prepare financial models, sensitivity analyses, and investment memos.

  • Conduct market, demographic, and competitive research to support investment theses.

  • Assist in due diligence, including lease audits, third-party report reviews, and coordination with legal and capital partners.

  • Support the team in deal tracking, pipeline management, and transaction execution.

Asset Management Support:

  • Analyze property performance, including leasing activity, capital expenditures, and operating results.

  • Maintain and update asset-level financial models and business plans.

  • Track key performance indicators across the portfolio and identify opportunities for operational improvements or value enhancement.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

  • Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and third-party consultants to support ongoing asset strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and Argus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for real estate and interest in long-term career growth within the industry.

Details

  • Location: Based in Oakland, CA, with properties primarily within walking distance.

  • Work Environment: Full-time in-office

  • Full-time, exempt position (Monday–Friday); must be available outside of working hours for emergency response if needed.
